To drive onto campus as a member of a student organization or as a club, you must have an access permit card.
Temporary Access
The StuRa has a limited number of cards available for temporary access. You can borrow these from the StuRa lending desk.
Permanent Access
Clubs that need repeated access to the campus for legitimate reasons should contact the Office of Volunteerism and Culture or the Consul. Please designate one person who will be responsible for the card(s) on behalf of your club. You are welcome to submit the form with the first few lines already filled out. The Volunteer and Culture Office or the Consul will then obtain authorization from the DGT. You will then receive the form back. After that, all you need to do is schedule an appointment with the key administrator at TU Ilmenau to pick up your access card(s) with the completed form.

- You will be responsible for the ticket(s) on behalf of your club
- You pick up the cards along with the completed form and return them when your club no longer needs them
- You are responsible for notifying the key custodian at TU Ilmenau, the Volunteer Office, or the Consul if there is a successor to take over responsibility for the keys (key handover form; see the intranet)
- You are required to report any loss immediately
- You acknowledge these instructions and will inform members of your club who have access to the campus accordingly
The card is valid for up to two years after it is issued
If you lose your card, you must report it immediately to the person in charge of keys at TU Ilmenau. To do so, use the form on the intranet site or contact the person in charge of keys.
This pass allows you to drive onto the campus and stop there to load or unload. You are not allowed to park on campus!
Instruction
- The TU Ilmenau Key Policy and the StuRa’s Borrowing Policy apply.
- Access cards are considered keys under the TU Ilmenau Key Policy.
- Only clubs authorized by the Chancellor or the DGT are entitled to access cards.
- The pass and the associated authorization may be revoked at any time.
- A designated person (one per club) must always sign for the access card(s).
- Access cards must be issued free of charge.
- Parking on campus is not permitted.
- Any loss must be reported immediately to the person in charge of keys at TU Ilmenau.
- The loss of a borrowed card must be reported immediately to the StuRa lending office.
- The access restriction is a measure of the security plan. Please handle the access cards and the authorization they grant responsibly.
