Rooms H 1521, H 1522, and H 1548 in the Helmholtz Building, as well as the StuRa office in Building A, offer a coworking space with a conference room for students and student initiatives. It is intended, in particular, to serve as a space for volunteer work for student initiatives that cannot afford their own office.
Features
The coworking space offers workstations equipped with a keyboard, mouse, docking station, webcam, and monitors. You can easily connect your laptop there via USB-C.
Conference Room
You can use the coworking space conference room (H 1548) on the spot if it’s available, or reserve it for a specific time slot. To make a reservation, log in to our room booking system using the button below with your StuRa or university account, select the start time, and enter the details of your event or meeting.
Access
The doors to the coworking spaces and the conference room are equipped so that they can be unlocked using the identification media (transponders, smart cards, etc.) already in use by the StuRa and some student organizations (e.g., ISWI, KuKo, HFC, FeM).
If you already have an access card and there is still enough free storage space on it, all you need to do is stop by briefly so we can activate it for the additional doors. Please contact our access control administrators (token [at] stura-ilmenau.de) for this.
If you do not yet have an identification medium, we can provide one to you in exchange for a deposit. In this case, please also contact our access control administrators (token [at] stura-ilmenau.de) and let them know which rooms you need access to.
