The Co-Working-Space for student initiatives is a cooperation of the departments Ehrenamt and IT as well as other committed persons within the framework of the AG Co-Working-Space of the Student Council. It is intended to serve as a space for volunteer work, especially for student initiatives that cannot afford their own office.
In the co-working space, you have four workstations with keyboard, mouse, docking station, webcam and monitors at your disposal. You can simply connect your laptop there via USB-C.
Another workstation is equipped with a Mac Mini and a monitor with higher color accuracy. You can use this workstation for image and video editing as well as app development for iOS.
You can use the co-working space conference room (H 1548) spontaneously when it is free or reserve it for a specific time period. To make a reservation, use the button below to log in to our room booking system with your sGIS or Uni account, select the start time and enter your event or meeting.
The doors of the co-working space rooms and the conference room are equipped so that they can be opened with the identification media (transponders, SmartCards, etc.) already in use at StuRa and some associations (e.g. ISWI, KuKo, HFC, FeM).
If you already have an identification medium and there are still enough free spaces on it, you just need to pay us a quick visit so that we can activate it for the additional doors. To do this, contact our locking system manager (token@stura.tu-ilmenau.de).
If you do not yet have an identification medium, we can provide you with one for a deposit. In this case, please also contact our locking system managers (token@stura.tu-ilmenau.de) and let them know which rooms you need access to.
