The Data Protection Officer serves as a knowledgeable point of contact for students and the Student Council and is familiar with the legal situation and existing structures in the

• student personal data administration,
• access and attendance control,
• video surveillance and
• in the administration of communication networks.

The officer supports the Student Council in implementing their efforts to protect the personal rights of students. He also provides advice on data collection and thus encourages the sensible and proportionate handling of personal data.
